License Agreement

Welcome to Munchkin Meals (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Munchkin Meals mobile application (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Munchkin Meals, or must be guided by an adult over 18 years old when using the app. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Description of Service

Munchkin Meals provides parents and caregivers with tools for family meal planning. Features may include recipe recommendations, weekly meal planning, tracking, and shopping list management.

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts & Subscriptions

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;

• Keep your login credentials secure; and

• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account.

 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

You may be able to upload, post, or share content such as recipes, comments, or photos (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Munchkin Meals a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

 

You are responsible for your User Content and agree not to post any material that is:

• False, misleading, or deceptive;

• Infringing on intellectual property rights;

• Offensive, obscene, or inappropriate; or

• In violation of any law.

 

We reserve the right to remove or moderate User Content at our discretion.

5. Nutrition and Health Disclaimer

The content provided in Munchkin Meals is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary changes for your child. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from the use of the Service. For AI Suggestions via MunchBot:

• MunchBot provides automated recipe suggestions, meal ideas, and planning assistance.

• All suggestions are for informational purposes only; we do not guarantee nutritional completeness or suitability for any specific dietary or medical condition.

• Use your own judgment and consult a professional for dietary or health-related concerns.

• MindMap Ventures LLC is not liable for any damages arising from use of AI suggestions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and materials available in the App are owned by or licensed to Munchkin Meals and are protected under copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful or unauthorized purposes;

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data;

• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service;

• Use the App in a way that could damage or disable it.

• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the App.

• Share your account outside your household/family group.

• Interfere with the App, servers, or other users.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Munchkin Meals. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

9. User Data & Cloud Storage & Privacy

• Free accounts store data locally on the device.

• Pro accounts store data in the cloud (via Supabase) for cross-device sync and backup.

• You may create multiple children, meals, and shopping lists.

• We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health info, allergies) beyond the information you enter into the app.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please read it carefully.

10. Subscription and Payments

Some features of Munchkin Meals may require a paid subscription. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through third-party app stores or payment processors. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled according to the app store’s terms.

• Plans:

  • Monthly Pro Plan: $4.99/month

  • Yearly Pro Plan: $39.99/year

• Billing: Handled via Apple App Store / RevenueCat. Payments, renewals, and cancellations are managed by the App Store; please see Apple’s subscription management options.

• Cancellation / Refunds: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your Apple account. Refunds are subject to Apple policies; we do not provide refunds outside of Apple’s platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided “as is.”

• MindMap Ventures LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

• We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from use of the App, including reliance on meal planning, AI suggestions, or recipes.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Munchkin Meals harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. License Grant

MindMap Ventures LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your device for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
